Contracts
Bookings with a fee of £800 or more will be issued a contract in which to be signed by the client prior to the event in question.
Cancellation Policy
All bookings confirmed in writing are subject to our cancellation policy. Bookings cancelled outside of two weeks prior to the booking day will not be subject to any charge. Bookings cancelled within two weeks of the booking day are subject to a 50% charge of the total booking fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking day are subject to a 100% charge of the total booking fee.
Please respect our musicians by adhering to the cancellation policy.
Failure to adhere to this policy may result in legal action.
Decades Showband Promise
Decades Showband always ensures the clients booking slot is reserved once officially booked. Decades Showband will therefore reject potential bookings that interfere with a booking already made. Members of the band then ensure they maintain availability for the booking, potentially turning down other work and planning their schedules around any bookings already made. Decades Showband will always endevour to supply as an 8 piece lineup, however where a member is not available for a booking prior to booking confirmation, Decades Showband reserves the right to appear as a 5 to 8 piece showband, depending on the nature of the booking. Bookings, such as weddings, specifying an 8 piece lineup will be guaranteed this as outlined in their contract. Where a member is unable to attend but their position is required for a booking, Decades Showband is liable for providing a suitable replacement musician to fill their position for any booking confirmed.
